Volunteer’s Week 2016

This year, Volunteers’ Week  1 – 12 June in Sandwell will focus on two important words. Thank you.  You shouldn’t need an excuse to say thanks to your volunteers; indeed it is often the thanks that comes out of the blue that has the most impact.   There are many theories about why saying thanks is important. A public demonstration of thanks can be used to generate positive publicity for organisations, which in turn may help to attract your next volunteer recruits.

We know that volunteers who feel involved and valued are more likely to volunteer for longer.

On Friday 3rd June at West Bromwich Albion Football Club beginning at 12noon Volunteer Centre Sandwell will be hosting a Volunteer Thank You Lunch & Quiz Challenge in the Richardson Suite.

Spaces are limited so if you would like to send up to five of your volunteers along, please contact Jeremy on 0121 544 8326 or email jeremy@volunteercentresandwell.co.uk

We will also be officially launching our five year lottery funded Hands on Project. For further information about the project contact ivy@volunteercentresandwell.co.uk.

We look forward to hearing from you.
